Graduation Attire

Graduation Attire

  • The Graduation Ceremony is one of the official ceremonies of the College.
  • All graduates are advised to wear something formal, yet appropriate for such a prestigious function. Please read (the guideline) for more information.
  • You will need to wear the College’s academic dress if you are graduating from a bachelor’s degree or above programme.

Collecting and returning the Academic Dress

  • Academic Dress will be issued from the College for the graduands who have registered for the ceremony upon the payment of ceremony fee and fees related to academic dress.
  • Academic dress will be available for collection from 26 to 30 October 2026, between 09:00 and 14:00 hrs, at Huvandhage Waheedhuge Handhaanee Marukaz (HWHM), Fuvahmulah.
  • Graduands should bring the payment receipts issued by the College and College Student ID or their National ID card to collect the academic dress.
  • Requests for academic dress after the deadline will NOT be entertained.
  • To ensure appropriate fitting, graduands are advised to collect academic dress personally.
  • All 3 items of the academic dress should be dry-cleaned only.
  • All the graduate must return the academic dress to the College latest by 16th November 2026.
  • Academic dress will be collected from Male’ Campus and HWHM, Fuvahmulah as follows:
    • From 02nd November – 16th November 2026 (Except Friday)
    • Time: 0900 – 1400 hrs. (Sunday – Thursday)
    • Time: 0900 – 11.30 hrs. (Saturday)
Fees and Deposits

Graduation Fee:

  • Cert III & IV: MVR 500
  • Diploma: MVR 700 | Associate Degree: MVR 1000
  • Degree and Above: MVR 1700

Dress Rental & Deposit:

  • Hiring Fee: MVR 500 (Non-refundable)
  • Deposit: MVR 1,500 (Refunded upon safe return)
Guest Invitations

Each graduate will receive an entry pass for yourself and an entry pass for ONE guest to participate the ceremony. Guests must present this pass upon entry.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals before 31st August 2026 are eligible for full refunds. Requests made after the rehearsal date will not be accepted.

College will confirm the registration via email and SMS.

Each graduand shall accompany ONE guest or parent.

Yes, you may participate.

No. Original certificates will be issued from the Registration Department at the college campus. You may collect it from college at a later date.

The student will be graduating from the highest level however you will receive both the completion certificates.

Yes, it is a must for all graduands to attend the convocation rehearsal, and the date and time for rehearsal will be announced via short message and email.

The ceremony will be approximately 2 hours long.

Yes, the college can provide a letter stating your graduand's status and the details of the ceremony.

Yes, there will be a live telecast of the Graduation Ceremony. We will inform the channel name to the graduands at a later date.

Yes, however, such requests must be made via email to the Registration Department. You also have to register for the convocation ceremony.

There is no storage available. Please leave all personal items (including purses, etc.) at home or with a family member/friend during the ceremony.

You may return the regalia within the specified dates above.

You may request via email to the Finance Department. However, an additional fee might be applicable.
