Bachelor of Science in Counseling (BPC) Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Counseling (BSC) is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to help individuals overcome their immediate problems and also to equip them to meet future problems. Students will also be equipped to construct an understanding of human behavior that integrates both environmental (e.g., social, development) and biological/cognitive (e.g., genes, brain) influences.
Students will learn to conduct a basic experiment with human participants collaboratively with peers, including design, ethical approval, data collection, basic statistical analysis, and presentation. Successful completion of this programme will enable students to obtain counseling license from Maldives Allied Health Council (MAHC).
Entry Requirements:
2 passes (minimum E grade in GCE A’ Level and minimum C grade in HSC) in GCE A’ Level/HSC, OR
Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field
